Originally developed in the 1930's aviators were designed to replace the bulky goggles worn by military pilots, which would frequently fog up at high altitudes. They were crafted with a lightweight metal frame and brow bar that could easily fit under a helmet, teardrop lenses which covered the wearer's entire field of vision. Baush & Lomb introduced the style to the civilian market and dubbing them the aviator.
Since then, the aviator has exploded in popularity and different styles.
Staying true to tradition, we here at Büssali Designs USA have created our own model of the aviator. The classic design with some technological advances.
All of these aviators are polarized and non glare. Some of our models will have "Flash Mirror" lens enhancement to them given them a truly unique color and modern look to them.
All metal frames with adjustable nose pads and temple tips to ensure a comfortable snug fit. Includes custom case and cloth to protect the flash treatment and polarized lenses.
